Teenage acne normally begins between the ages of ten and thirteen. It may first show on the nose and then spread to the forehead, the chin and eventually to the cheeks. In severe cases, this condition can spread to the neck, shoulders, chest, back and even the upper arm.

If you are a teenager with acne, you are definitely not alone. Here are some recent statistics regarding teenagers, adults, and acne:

* 3 out of 4 teenagers will get acne.
* 90 – 95% of teenagers will have some form of acne in their teen years and into their early 20′s.
