Acne is a skin condition almost every person faces at one state in their lives. However it is more common among teens than any group of people. This is a result of hormonal processes that take place in a teenager’s body. Adults can also experience severe acne like teens.

Usually, most people prefer using ointments and creams. But I find that the best way to treat acne is from within. You need to treat it from within so you can treat the root of the acne.

Most acne occur when dead skins and oils in your skin mix up and clog your pores. However, it also often arises from hormonal imbalances and also due to a toxic body. Hence one effective way of treating acne is to detoxify your body. I’ll show you a product to effectively do that at the end of this article. Detoxifying your body results in the clearing up of acne problems naturally.

You can also find several herbs on the market that are designed to aid in acne treatment for adults and teenagers alike. There are some made uniquely for male or female hormone imbalances. Using herbal hormone balance products can get rid of many problems at once.Getting your hormonal balance right can be very good for your natural acne treatment.

You can also prepare your own ginger drink by buying ginger from the shop and blending it with water. You can add a little honey to sweeten it up. Ginger aids in cleaning your kidneys and bowels. This leads to the removal of excess toxins in your body and increase blood circulation. A well circulated blood will help in removing toxins from your body and aid in the prevention of further acne development.

Apart from these herbs, there are also some basic things you need to do yourself to prevent further acne growth. Always wash you face and around your neck and chest area at least 2 times a day with mild soap and rinse well. You can also wash your face with an acne cleanser. Avoid using oil based cosmetics. Always try and use a water base one. If you are not sure, ask the sale person. Just generally keeping your skin clean will prevent clogged pores and the appearance of pimples.

Using any good colon cleansing and detoxifying product will help restore hormonal balance and take away one of the major causes of acne. See below for my recommendations.

Natural acne treatments are effective but take a very long time, close to a year, to actually work. If you want a faster way of effectively getting rid of acne that also attacks the root cause, then this acne treatment system is the right system for you.

If you have acne or live with someone that does then this may not come as a surprise or shock. But in our society having acne can be a most embarrassing issue. There are many days that start off with a loud scream or heartbreaking sighs of a deep emotional ache. These can come from both men and women. Believe it or not but the source of this shock and scream and ultimate disappointment with the day is acne. In particular probably one gruesome inflamed zit that is shining brightly on their face, yes a simple clogged pore had ruined these peoples day. So now you know; having acne can hurt.

The psychological reaction to a pimple is different in every person. Some people especially teenagers will stay out of school if they have what they consider to be an ugly zit on their face. They will cancel dances and dates and hide away in their room. Even adults have been known to not go to a party or a dinner because of acne.

Acne is a painful problem to our self confidence, that is easily seen, but it can also be quite painful physically on our skin. It can burn and ache and constantly call your attention to it. If you leave it untreated it can scar. If you pop, pinch, molest and antagonize it, it can also become infected and cause a scarring reaction.

No, acne is rarely if ever a life threatening problem. But it can change your life and having acne can indeed hurt. Hormones that go into over drive certain times in our life can produce an excess of oil deposits and the dead skin we slough off combine to create an ugly blemish. It is the psychological scars that are the hardest to deal with.

Acne can affect as at any age, though it usually begins at thirteen and most likely will end sometime around nineteen years of age. However some battle acne way into adulthood. We each will have a different level of seriousness to an acne infection. This has many contributing factors and will depend on our hereditary, diet, oils we produce, bathing rituals and medications we take. Some acne can be treated at home with simply cleansing while others will have to shown to our dermatologist.

It is important for you to remember, if you have acne or do not have acne, that for some people it is a serious matter and does affect many people. It is not something to laugh at. Some people will literally lock themselves in their homes till the acne passes, giving up a lot of their life. They just cannot face the world with a blemish on their face. The acne industry sells over a hundred million dollars in products a year, that alone has to tell you how dead serious people are to eliminate acne.

Acne may not seem to be a serious matter for some, but it is an infection that can greatly affect many. There are people with acne who locks themselves up in their rooms waiting for the acne to disappear. It is a serious blemish that they cannot show to the world. Every year, ointments and acne medication has estimated sales of over a hundred million dollars. This just shows how many people are dead serious in eliminating acne.

Acne is a common skin problem that plagues many people at some point during their lives. It is most common in teenagers. Nevertheless, adults may also suffer from acne even when they’ve past puberty stage. There are many acne treatment products in the market today. Depending on the severity of your inflammation, treatment may be external (topical medicine) or in the form of oral medicine.

For mildly blemished skin, you need to tackle whiteheads, blackheads, and occasional pimple formation. The best acne solution is to treat it with a mild soap and apply creams with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. If this doesn’t work, consult a skin specialist. You may be prescribed with stronger dosages of lotions or creams. For moderate to severe skin blemish, the treatment will be slightly different. In such cases, the main problem to overcome is inflammation. You’ll need to follow a more detailed skincare regimen and use acne treatment products more consistently. Doctors may prescribe oral antibiotics to help you speed up the healing process and reduce scarring. You can also consider signing up for a combination of several skincare therapies. Of course, this should only be allowed under the supervision of a reputable doctor.

There are also many ways to treat blemish scars. Some of the more common treatments include collagen injections, dermabrasion, and chemical peeling. These are cosmetic procedures intended to remove blemish scars and improve overall skin texture. They can and should only be administered by licensed practitioners. Besides the solutions mentioned above, you can also improve the condition of your skin by practicing a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep. Most importantly, reduce the stress level in your life.

Finding the perfect acne solution can be a challenging task as each person’s skin condition is different. Blemished skin sometimes requires specific treatments administered by doctors. Regardless of the condition of your skin, remember that healing takes time. Be patient and stick with a good skincare regimen. You won’t regret it.

What is Ayurveda and Its Importance?

Ayurveda is a traditional holistic healing. Translated from Sanskrit, Ayurveda means ‘the science of life’. ayur means “life” and veda means “science. India system which largely depends on plant support to form major Chunk of its medicine. Most of the herbs, spices, seeds, roots, leaves, stems, petals and flowers are deeply ingrained in all Indian homes where ‘home remedies’ are popular. Even certain family members in some family are adept in curing even intricate disorders by simple and cost effective formulations which, at times, have shown marvelous and astounding results.

All over the world today we are looking for a natural system of healing that is comprehensive and complete, that is not merely some curious form of folk healing but a real and rational system of medicine that is sensitive to both nature and the Earth. This is exactly what Ayurveda has to offer, for it has a many thousand year-old clinical tradition and a comprehensive natural method of treatment ranging from diet, herbs and massage.

With Ayurveda we learn the right diet for our individual type, how to improve our immune system, he keys to right use of sexual energy and rejuvenation,a nd a conscious way of life that can lift us to a new level of awareness in all our endeavors.

Without such natural wisdom as Ayurveda, we may find ourselves not only unhealthy, but unhappy and spiritually confused.

Ayurveda Principles and Theory

Ayurveda system is the prominent user of herbs and its basic theory revolves round imbalance and vitiation of three humors (Doshas).

Ether (Akash), Air (Vayu), Fire (Agni), Water (Jal) and Earth (Prithvi) are the great five elements which underline all living systems. these elements are constantly changing and interacting and can be simplified into three Vitiations (Doshas). When these doshas remain under harmony and balance, health of body does not get disturbed but, when their balance gets disturbed, a diseased state sets in.

The three doshas are vata (Wind), Pitta (Bile) and Kapha (Phlegm) and due to predominance of the one dosha, a person’s personality is determined that is ‘ Vata-Prakriti’, ‘Pitta- Prakriti’ or ‘Kapha Prakriti’

Vata formed from ether and air, governs all movement in the mind and body and must be kept in good balance.

Pitta formed from fire and water, governs “all heat, metabolism and transformation in the mind and body

Kapha formed from earth and water, cements the elements in the body, providing the material for physical structure

Each person has an individual blend of the three doshas, with one or sometimes two doshas predominating.

Common Herbs used in Ayurvedic Medicines

How I Cured My PMS Naturally

For as long as I can remember, I have suffered from PMS (premenstrual syndrome). I was also
diagnosed with depression at the age of twelve. I suffered for
many years, month in and month out. Not only did I suffer, but
my family also suffered along with For years, I didn’t know what
was wrong with me. I had extreme emotional unbalance for 2 weeks
out of every month. Gradually, as the years went on, my PMS
seemed to get worse.

To be honest, I didn’t really know I had PMS; even the doctors I
saw apparently couldn’t come to an agreement on my diagnoses
either. As I said earlier, I was diagnosed with clinical
depression at the tender age of twelve. However, when I think
back, that was just after I began menstruating. But the
so-called experts thought it was simply depression, and so began
the years of drugs. Or, sorry, I mean medical treatment.

I was first put on the birth control pill at age twelve, for
medical reasons, to be sure. This was supposed to “cure” my
depression. What were they thinking? Needless to say, what I now
know to be PMS was not at all “cured” by the drugs. When this
form of treatment failed to improve my emotional well being, I
was placed on an anti-depressant. That was actually the first of
nearly twenty types of anti-depressants I would take over a
course of fifteen years. How sad!

Some of the medication worked better than others. Although, I
was not ever taking one single medication for very long. My
doctors just couldn’t seem to make up there minds. One month one
type of drug offered promised relief, the next month, there was
another theory about another drug. I was even placed on
tranquilizers, which just put me to sleep.

Finally, after my second child, my PMS became so unbearable. My
symptoms would begin the day after I ovulated, and last 2 weeks,
until menstruation began. I was living a nightmare, and so were
my family. I attempted to go back to college 3 times over a
period of 3 years, however, as soon as the symptoms started, I
just couldn’t cope.

For 2 full weeks, it took all my strength just to get out of bed
in the morning. The afternoons were no better, as I seemed to
just sleep the day away. I hated everyone. All I wanted to do
was be alone, and sleep. But I couldn’t be alone; I had 2
children to take care of. Two children whom I love and adore,
but during these trying times, I almost could not stand having
them. I had absolutely no patience for them, and I hated myself
for it.

During these years, I continued to see doctors, hoping to find
my cure. I was even diagnosed with bi polar disorder by a
psychiatrist. What a joke that was. He put me on some
psychiatric drug that turned me into a zombie. I lasted 2 days
on it, and never took it again. I also consulted another
psychiatrist during this time. He never really gave me
diagnoses, just lots of different pills. One pill for depression, which seemed to work, but took away my
libido. So to offset it, he gave me another pill to bring back
my libido. But this new pill also gave me insomnia, so I got a sleeping pill. I
think I lasted 2 or 3 months like this, before I couldn’t stand
taking all those pills any more.

Next, I tried it on my own, no meds at all. I was still in my
nightmare. This lasted at least a year. I would call my husband
home from work just to watch the kids, because all I could do
was cry. We couldn’t take the suffering anymore. It had to end!
So back to the doctor I went.

When I left the office, I was devastated. Not only did I have a
new prescription, but I also had a new diagnosis, PMDD, or
premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Like all good little patients,
I began my new drugs. Every 6 months or so, the pills would seem
to stop working. So, my doctor would continue to increase them.
I let this carry on for almost 2 years, before I realized, not
only was my “PMDD” back, but I had acne that was worse than
anything I had ever had as a teenager, I had zero libido, I was
tired all month long now, and I had gained nearly twenty pounds,
and had a yeast infection which no drug could eliminate.

I began doing some research for a website All Natural
Health Remedies. I had never really believed in natural
cures. I thought, if it was so easy to treat health conditions,
why was anyone sick? The thought just seemed to good to be true.
However, the more I read, the more it made sense!

First, I stopped eating meat. My intention was to buy organic
meat, as it doesn’t contain all the extra hormones injected into
our regular food supply. However, I never made it to the
organics store on time. One night, I was just repulsed by what
sat on my plate. I thought it was strange, so I cooked another
meal the next night, and again, I just could not eat the meat.
Maybe it was that during all my research, I found out just what
goes into our meat supply. Regardless, I instantly became a
vegetarian.

Next, I knew my body was full of toxins, after years of taking
pills, and ingesting hormones, not to mention everything else. I
purchased a colon cleanse, and immediately began the regime, as
well as drinking 6 cups of water per day. My acne instantly
cleared up! However, after all the research I had performed on
toxins in our bodies, I was not surprised. As for the PMS, or
PMDD, I was only 2 weeks into a cycle, so time would only tell.

I also purchased a high potency vitamin b complex, as the b
vitamins are required for optimal nervous system functioning,
energy production, and to stave off depression and anxiety.
Along with the B complex, I began taking a coral calcium
supplement as well, since I had learned that a calcium
deficiency could mask itself as PMS.

Within one month, I had successfully eliminated all of my
symptoms. I had, and still have more energy than I could have
ever imagined. I enjoy my husband, and my children again. No
more do I dread getting out of bed to face the day. My life has
taken on new meaning, and I hope to share my success story with
as many people as possible. PMS can successfully be treated
naturally.

The benefits of following an acne diet plan have been discussed (and argued) for a long time. People that practice a holistic approach to healing have long embraced the idea that acne is actually a skin condition, not a skin disease. They believe the root cause of your acne lies in the fact that your body has little or no tolerance to elevated levels of hormones, chemicals, and/or toxins that can invade your body from many directions, including many of the foods and beverages that you consume at every meal.

If this is the case, it would then follow that adopting an acne diet plan that eliminates the foods that contain this material would appear to be a good idea. With that in mind, let’s look at a couple of examples that show just how much your diet affects both the frequency and severity of your acne outbreaks.

Most of us first experience acne during our teenage years. This is a time of tremendous change in your body as you progress from childhood, through adolescence, and, finally, into adulthood. Your body’s hormone production is in hyperdrive and your it simply can’t tolerate the level of hormones that it is producing and is desperately trying to find a way to eliminate the excess. I know that this sounds a bit ironic, but it is true, none the less.

The unfortunate part of this is that some people (those that have acne) are cursed with bodies that eliminate the hormone overload by emulsifying them in sebum oil (the Mother of all pimples) and secreting it out through your sebaceous glands, located in the hair follicles on your skin. This is where your acne formation begins.

For the truly unfortunate, acne outbreaks continue long after the raging hormones of adolescence have settled down. With adult acne, the process is the same, but the root cause is most often found in the chemicals that are used in everything from your clothes to the processed foods that you get at your favorite restaurant or your neighborhood grocery store. These chemicals and toxins tend to build up in your vital organs and trigger the same reaction that your teenage hormones started in your youth.

All of this ties into the wisdom of adopting an effective acne diet plan because many of the foods and beverages that you consume every day contain the very chemicals, toxins, and hormones that are causing your acne outbreaks in the first place. The plain truth is, every meal that you eat just adds more fuel to the fire.

My space here is a bit limited, but you can find a more detailed discussion of the benefits of adopting an effective acne diet plan, including specific examples of foods that you should avoid, at the True Acne Diet website.

You may also want to visit this link to learn about the most effective (and, most successful!) acne diet plan ever developed. Thousands of people (including Me!) have found it to be the road to an acne-free life!

Taking care of your skin is essential for keeping a healthy body. Certain treatments and regimen must be followed for every skin types.

It is very important first to know the different types of skin, especially your own skin type, before deciding to use a certain product, or before undergoing a specific treatment. Such knowledge will make you aware of what is complementary to you, and what products you will have adverse effects.

It is a precaution in using the wrong products that would do more harm than good. For instance, you may damage your skin by applying an oil-based cream to your already oily skin. Your skin, particularly the face may have an acne or pimple breakout.

So here are the different skin types. There is an oily, normal, t-zone type, dry skin, sensitive and combination skin. These are defined in more detail below together with the right regimen for each.

Oily Skin
People with oily skin need to have the appropriate and maximum type of care for they are prone to pimples, acne and breakouts. The teenagers suffer from these more because of the hormonal imbalance in their system. On the other hand, others can also have oily skin due to excessive production of sebum in their bodies.

The skin mostly looks and feels oily, greasy as well as shiny. There is an unnecessary presence of shine on the skin
